Beaches
Mull has many sandy beaches, with 3 on the farm at the end of our track, and more both east and west along the coast. Particularly worth exploring are the beaches from Fidden to Erraid and Knockvologan on the south west tip of the Island, and there are many more listed on our Beaches page.

Walks
Mull has great walks, both short along and near the roads and beaches where there are never many people and serious hikes for the hearty from the Monro of Ben More to the long rugged coastline. Some are shown on our walks page but you should be prepared as you can easily be 5-10 miles from the nearest farm and the weather can vary.

Fishing
The many rivers and lochs on Mull are home to some spectacular fish. There are plenty of Brown Trout with people having caught specimens weighing over 15lbs on the island, and Sea Trout and Salmon when the water is right. Fishing our Loch from the bank is free, and a boat can usually be arranged. There are also plenty of sea fish off the points and beaches on the farm. Boat Trips
Because of the serene landscape and amazing wildlife, boat trips are popular in Mull. Parties of walkers can be taken to stunning remote locations for an unforgettable experience ashore. Destinations include castles, villages, historical landmarks and places especially for children.

Wildlife and Mull Safaris
No matter what season, there is always beautiful wildlife on Mull. In July, you'll see the ground covered by Fragrant Orchids, with rare Marsh Fritillary butterflies, Scotch Argus and others. Otter, deer, whales and dolphins are also part of the local wildlife, and many safaris are offeres across Mull as well as Pony Trekking.

Sea Life
Amongst others, you have the chance to spot the Minke Whale, Dolphin, Killerwhale, Seals and the strange fish Mola Mola which can grow up to 3m long. There are also sea birds such as Puffin, Guillemot, and Razorbill which gather to feed on fish when dolphins and whales are nearby. Sealife tours are available across Mull.

Bird Watching
Mull is a sought after location for bird watching, simply because of the vast number of species you will see and the surroundings they live in. Common species to look for include the Oystercatcher, White Tailed Eagle, and various types of Owl.
